Food and Life, provides low cost food and lifestyle products to more than 1500 families on low incomes. Supported by Food Bank Australia, we provide food and amenities to low income earners. Those eligible can find a wide variety items to meet their needs. Being able to take some of the pressure off living in a financially demanding city can help make the difference when times get tough.
Who Can Access Food & Life?
Anyone with a government benefit card or Seniors Card can become a member and make use of the shop. Anyone in the greater Sydney area can take advantage of this service. It costs nothing to become a member and they are then able to shop as often as they wish, and save money to put towards other things.
How to Become a Member
No appointment is required. The best way to get started is simply to come to the shop during the hours listed above and enquire about becoming a member. Make sure that you have your benefit card with you, it will be needed for the sign-up process. There is no cost, it only takes a few minutes, and you can shop on the day you sign up. You pick up your membership card the next time you come in.
